What is 24-0?
24-0 is a free Formula 1 strategy game: spin for an era, draft a chassis, two drivers and a team principal, then simulate a full 24-race season. A Grand Prix is won if either of your two cars finishes first, so both driver picks matter. Win all 24 races and you've gone 24-0 — a perfect season. It's part of a small "perfect season" genre of draft-and-simulate browser games — an original, independently built game, not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA, any team, or any other 24-0 game.
Has any team actually gone 24-0?
No. No driver or team has ever won every race in a Formula 1 season. The closest anyone has come in the modern era was Red Bull winning 21 of 22 races in 2023, with Max Verstappen taking a record 19 wins. Even the most dominant cars in history lost the odd race to reliability, weather, or a rival — which is exactly what makes a clean 24-0 so hard, and why it's the bar this game sets.
How to play
You draft a full team: a chassis (the car), two drivers, and a team principal. Each round spins an era and a candidate pool, and a limited number of rerolls are available if a spin leaves you with nothing that fits. Because a race is won if either of your two cars finishes first, the number-two driver is a real strategic pick, not filler. The principal is a light strategy modifier — a good one sharpens race strategy and car development — but the car and the two drivers decide almost everything. Once the team is set, all 24 Grands Prix simulate automatically.
Why the era you spin matters
Formula 1 has changed enormously across its history — the balance between car and driver, reliability, and overtaking is different in every era. The era you spin shapes how much the chassis dominates versus how much a great driver can drag an average car up the order, so a team built for the era you're simulating performs better than a mismatched one.
Real names, no marks
Driver and constructor names, and the ratings derived from them, come from open historical race records spanning 1950 to the present — names and derived numbers only. There are no team logos, car liveries, sponsor marks, or driver photographs anywhere, and team principals are original, fictional strategic archetypes rather than real people.
Daily Challenge and leaderboard
Every player who loads 24-0 on the same day gets the exact same sequence of draft options. Submit your season to the live leaderboard — no account required to play or to submit. Every run also generates a shareable seed, so you can hand a friend the exact same draft for a head-to-head.
Frequently asked questions
What is 24-0?
A free browser game: spin for an era, draft a Formula 1 chassis, two drivers and a team principal, then simulate a full 24-race season. A Grand Prix is won if either of your two cars finishes first — so both driver picks matter. Win all 24 races and you have gone 24-0, a perfect season.
Is this 24-0 affiliated with Formula 1 or any other game?
No. It is an independent, unofficial game, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by Formula 1, the FIA, any team, or any other "24-0" game. No F1, team, or sponsor logos, liveries, or driver images are used.
Why 24 races?
The modern Formula 1 calendar runs 24 Grands Prix (both the 2024 and 2025 seasons had 24 rounds). The game standardises on that length, so "24-0" always means the same thing: win every single race on the calendar.
Why do I draft two drivers?
Because a real F1 team runs two cars, and a race is won if either of them finishes first. A strong second driver genuinely raises your chances at every Grand Prix, which is why the number-two pick is not just filler — it is a real strategic decision.
Has any team actually gone 24-0?
No. No driver or team has ever won every race in a Formula 1 season. The closest anyone has come in the modern era was Red Bull winning 21 of 22 races in 2023, with Max Verstappen taking a record 19 wins. Even the most dominant cars in history lost the odd race to reliability, weather, or a rival, which is exactly what makes 24-0 so hard.
Is 24-0 free to play?
Yes, entirely free, with no account required to play, save progress, or submit to the leaderboard. Progress and personal bests are saved to your browser only.
Is there a salary-cap mode or a difficulty setting?
Yes — Salary Cap mode. Toggle it on the welcome screen before you draft, and your chassis and both drivers each get a salary based on their rating — you must build all three under a fixed $87M cap, so you cannot simply draft the strongest car and drivers at every pick. Your team principal stays free either way. There is no separate difficulty slider — the cap is the harder challenge, and Classic mode (no budget) is the default.
Do the driver and constructor names come from real F1 history?
Yes — driver and constructor names, and the ratings derived from them, come from open historical race records spanning 1950 to the present. The game stores names and derived numbers only. There are no team logos, car liveries, sponsor marks, or driver photographs anywhere.
What does the team principal do?
The principal is a light strategy modifier — a good one sharpens race strategy and car development. Principals are original, fictional strategic archetypes, not real people. The car and the two drivers still decide almost everything.
Is there a Daily Challenge and leaderboard?
Yes. Everyone who plays 24-0 on the same day gets the exact same sequence of draft options, and you can submit your season result to a live, public leaderboard — no account required. It runs on its own separate board.
Can I replay a friend's exact draft?
Yes. Every run generates a shareable seed. Enter someone else's seed on the welcome screen and you will be put through the exact same sequence of draft options they had — make the same picks for a mirror match, or different picks for a real head-to-head.
How do I play 24-0, and does it work on mobile?
Spin for an era, then draft a chassis, driver one, driver two and a team principal, each pulled from a small candidate pool for that era. On the welcome screen you can optionally switch on Salary Cap mode, which gives your chassis and drivers a rating-based salary and challenges you to fit all three under a $87M cap. Once your team is complete, all 24 Grands Prix simulate automatically — a Grand Prix counts as a win if either of your two cars finishes first. It runs in any modern mobile or desktop browser, no app or account needed, and progress saves locally to that device.
When does the Daily Challenge reset, and is there an archive of past challenges?
The Daily Challenge resets once every 24 hours at midnight UTC, giving everyone the same draft options and the same shared leaderboard for that day. There is currently no archive of previous days' challenges, so once a day rolls over you cannot go back and replay it — though you can still start unlimited Classic or Blind Draft runs any time with a random or shared seed.
Can I play more than once, and can I share or export my result?
Yes, outside the Daily Challenge you can start a fresh Classic or Blind Draft run as many times as you like, each with a new random seed. After a season finishes, a Share button uses your device's native share sheet (or copies to your clipboard) with your win-loss record, grade and seed as text. There is no image or graphic export yet — just shareable text and a seed.
How does team chemistry affect my season?
Your draft earns named chemistry bonuses and penalties — for example "Two-Car Threat" for two elite drivers, "Dream Package" for a dominant car with a top driver, or "Fragile Machine" if reliability is too low. These roll up into a chemistry score that feeds directly into your car pace and overall team rating, which drives your win probability in every simulated Grand Prix — chemistry is not cosmetic, it changes the result.
What's the closest any F1 season has come to 24-0, and how is this different from SportsMonkie's other perfect-season games?
No driver or team has ever won every race in an F1 season. The closest in the modern era was Red Bull's 2023 season, winning 21 of 22 races with Max Verstappen taking a record 19 (see most F1 wins in a season and longest F1 win streaks). Unlike SportsMonkie's other "-0" games — 82-0 (NBA), 17-0 (NFL) and 38-0 (soccer) — 24-0 is motorsport: you build a two-car team, not a full roster, and a win comes from either car finishing first.
