Guess the Wrestler
One mystery wrestler a day, 8 guesses to find them. Every guess comes back with eight factual clues — primary promotion, debut era, nationality, billed height and weight, role, title tier and finisher type — and an arrow pointing toward the answer. Green is exact, amber is close.

How to play
Type any wrestler and hit guess. All 424 names in the game are valid guesses — mostly retired and legacy stars — so you can spend an early guess on someone you know sits in a specific era or weight range just to bracket the answer. The daily answer is always drawn from a shorter list of 150 of the most recognisable legends, so it is never obscure.
A good opener is a wrestler whose promotion and era you are sure of. Promotion is a hard yes-or-no, so a wrong guess still tells you whether the answer worked the same territory — and the era, height and weight arrows narrow the field faster than a single categorical clue, because they carry direction as well as a hit-or-miss.
Everyone gets the same wrestler on the same day, and the puzzle rolls over at midnight UTC. Not enough? Unlimited mode gives you a new wrestler immediately, drawn from the same list of legends, free and without an account.
What the clues mean
| Clue | Green | Amber |
|---|---|---|
| Promo | Same primary promotion | — |
| Debut | Same debut decade | One decade away |
| Nat | Same nationality | — |
| Ht | Exact billed height | Within 2 inches |
| Wt | Exact billed weight | Within 20 lb |
| Role | Same role (singles / tag / manager) | — |
| Title | Same title tier (world / midcard / tag) | — |
| Finish | Same finisher type (strike / slam / submission / aerial) | — |
Promotion, nationality, role, title tier and finisher type are yes-or-no. The three ordered clues — debut era, height and weight — show an arrow pointing toward the answer.

Frequently asked questions
Is Guess the Wrestler affiliated with WWE or AEW?
No. This is an independent, unofficial fan game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by WWE, AEW, or any wrestling promotion. Ring names and factual career details are used nominatively as plain-text references. There are no photographs, likenesses, promotion logos, or marks anywhere in the game.
How do I play?
Type any wrestler and hit guess. You get 8 tries to find the mystery wrestler of the day. Every guess returns eight factual clues — primary promotion, debut era, nationality, billed height, billed weight, role, title tier, and finisher type. Green means an exact match, amber means close on era, height, or weight, and an arrow points toward the answer.
Is it free, and does it need an account?
Yes, entirely free, with no sign-up. Your streak, win rate, and guess distribution are saved to your browser only — there is no server account and nothing to log in to.
How is the daily wrestler chosen?
Everyone gets the same wrestler on the same day, drawn from a fixed sequence of 150 of the most recognisable legends. The puzzle rolls over at midnight UTC. The puzzle number is the number of days since launch, so it stays the same for everyone and never gets reshuffled.
Which wrestlers can I guess?
Any of the 424 wrestlers in the game are valid guesses — mostly retired and legacy names across WWE, WCW, ECW, NWA, AWA, New Japan, All Japan, TNA, and lucha libre. The daily answer is always one of the well-known legends, so it is always someone you have a fair chance of naming.
What does the title tier clue mean?
Title tier is the highest signature championship a wrestler is known for: World (a world championship), Midcard (a secondary or midcard title), or Tag (primarily a tag-team champion). It is a hard yes-or-no clue, like promotion, nationality, role, and finisher type.
