Real Madrid: Champions League Record Holder

Real Madrid have won the Champions League and its predecessor the European Cup more times than any other club, by a clear margin. After that early 1950s run they kept adding to the total in the modern era under managers including Vicente del Bosque, Carlo Ancelotti, and Zinedine Zidane.

At home, they hold the record for La Liga titles too, a reflection of both financial resources and a consistent ability to sign and develop the best players available. Alfredo Di Stefano, Ferenc Puskas, Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema all had defining spells there.
